Everyone has their crazy

Everybody has their crazy. What I mean is, everyone has their baggage, their crazy relatives, their crazy ex-boyfriends, their stories from their past they’d prefer not to tell.

It’s the stuff that maybe you try to keep under wraps, so you can seem as sane and normal as possible. But, the truth is, at least in my experience, you aren’t sane and normal (of course, I might have disproportionally crazy friends because I am crazy). You may be a decent person. You may be socially acceptable. But, you still have your shit.

We all do, it’s almost impossible to get through life without accumulating it. Hell, I have a whole laundry list of shit that has, for better or probably worse, made me the person I am. But, this shit is better kept hidden. Kept non-obvious, to avoid awkward questions.

But, it’s almost impossible to keep it all hidden. Eventually, the more time you spend with someone, the more involved you get (as friends or otherwise), your crazy leaks through, and sometimes, and this truly sucks, infects their lives, and drives away. And, that’s too dangerous. Because if people can see you beyond who you claim to be, they might not like you (groundbreaking I know). Or, even if they do, they may judge you, or talk about you, and even wonder to you’re face- what the hell is your problem?

So, it’s easier to keep it hidden, keep your “crazy” to yourself. But, don’t be fooled, everyone has their own dark little secrets, their crazy they don’t want you to know about.
