And everywhere, it’s me me me. It’s self esteem above all else. And you better not offend me, or look at me funny. And god forbid walking in someone else’s shoes. And it feels like looking around, all there is is fucking danger. Like, this world is just a terrible place. And watching the news doesn’t help. Between murder, and presidential debates, and wars and famine, and no one can tolerate each other anymore. And there’s never any reason to be around anyone who disagrees. And if I want something, I’ll take it, if I want to hurt someone, I’ll do it. Never mind the legal consequences- when did it become cool to be such an asshole?

Maybe I should blame hipsters, skinny jeans, soul patches, and doing things ironically was bound to be our downfall. It’s like, no one has consideration for others anymore. At least it seems that way.

And maybe they never did. Looking back thru history, people have done some seriously fucked up shit. But, more than one person a day is getting murdered here. And we are only solving 60% of them. There are over 1000 unsolved murders in the last decade. Just in Philly. It’s like my town is spiraling out of control, and I’m not sure why. Yeah, the economy is shit, but what does that have to do with senseless violence? Just because your life sucks doesn’t give you license to hurt another person.

Neither does them being a rangers fan. Seriously, just throw popcorn at them, give them wrong directions and be done with it. There’s no reason to resort to violence. People need to gain some goddamn perspective. It’s like a lack of empathy is spreading like wildfire. And I have no idea how to put out the flames.

Reuniting the countries would be ruinous for South Korea, everyone knows that. But..even if North Korea became free. Are the people’s brains there mush? It’d be like unplugging people from the freaking Matrix, except at least in this case they would be going someplace nicer. (Seriously…Zion blows. That was part of the problem with the sequels, the real world was a dark cave filled with bad music and weird orgies. It made being a battery seem surprisingly comforting). But, would someone who spent their entire life believing that garbage, being forced to cry, never having any concept of what the truth is. And not only believing lies (all dictators lie, all politicians lie…in the words of House- Everybody lies. And it’s never lupus…but that’s less relevant). But these lies are so freaking stupid. Seriously…he invented an invisible camera? Really people? Can’t you make yourself look good without violating the laws of biology, physics, and time?? I’d sooner believe that you could travel through time with a DeLorean and stolen plutonium than that a baby learned to walk at two months. Like…seriously…the bone structure of an infant…just no. And that creepy funeral, and the giant pictures. Yeah, the giant pictures are more normal, they are standard dictator fare. In fact, they are part of why the t-shirts with the big Obama pictures creep me out some. Like, seriously people…why are you making your President more like a third world dictator?? Creeepy.

Anyway, I can’t imagine…and the fucked thing is, we don’t know if these people even believe this stuff, because if you dissent- you die. But, I feel bad for those people, but at the same time, I worry that the neurons in their brains may have stopped fully firing. Even just as a defense mechanism- I mean…wouldn’t they have to???

I fought the rain today coming home, and the rain won. Yeah, i know, weather isn’t interesting, but my umbrella seriously lost to mother nature today. Umbrellas often do, rain and wind go together surprisingly often. Fronts and all that. You’d think we’d have thought of a better system by now.

Speaking of fronts, why do the nazis (i.e. Stormfront) love Ron Paul so much?? Ron Paul never struck me as a racist neo-nazi, what on earth does he say that appeals to those people so much?? And why won’t he disavow them?!?!

I wish I could go to the Winter Classic. Seriously- hockey in a baseball stadium! Two of my loves smushed together, its like a sports orgasm. but sadly, my broke ass will have to watch it on TV. Preferably a tv with alcohol nearby. Mmmm whiskey….

I can’t focus

Seriously, fuck people. Fuck not reporting child rape, fuck routing for dog killers. Fuck Andy Reid. Fuck war, and nukes, and occupiers who are stopping people from working for demands that are unclear. Fuck not sleeping. I am consistently not sleeping. I will be exhausted all day, and then suddenly, head to pillow, my eyes stay open. And then I wake up, exhausted, unable to sleep, hours before I need to. And, I feel like I’m constantly on edge, at risk of collapse. Or not. Maybe I’m just melodramatic. Or just need more sleep. I’m fine really. At least I know if I saw a kid getting raped, the first person I’d call wouldn’t be my father. Well, I DON’T call my father ever. But, my mother, or stepfather, or any of my friends. No, I think I’d be calling 911, or the nearest big burly guy, or for a bat or a shovel. People suck, is all I’m saying. And, it’s not just that, or even mostly. It’s- I mean, watch the world for fucks sake. Watch the news.

On a small scale, there can decent people, kindness, goodness, all that stuff. It’s there, I know. The world isn’t totally gray and cold. Obviously, since it was warm and sunny today. A nice day to go on a long pointless walk to South Street in search of a cookie store with questionable hours. On less than four hours sleep. My eyes are unhappy. Or punishing me, for something.

You are seriously going to have to vacate dilworth plaza next month. You see, there is a major renovation planned. A 55 million dollar one. And- this needs to happen. The center of our government should not look like a cesspool. Our city is better than a homeless colony in the center of town. Putting it off will simply cost more money, especially since it’d be an indefinite put off because you guys are planning on staying until….corporate types stop being greedy?? The man stops keeping you down? Being vague and amorphous is fine and all, but I will NOT allow my city to suffer because you want to fight the man!

It’s bad enough how much money this is costing us. And, no, it’s not that the police are bitching about doing their job- its that cities aren’t designed to have hundreds of people live outdoors and camp out in the middle of them. It’s not a natural part of their job to have to give you round the clock protection because you choose to live outside. That said, I’ll turn a blind eye to that, let you guys take your little protest (which is NOT as important as the freaking civil rights movement) to some other location. But…you need to vacate dilworth plaza.

Sorry. I want my student loans forgiven too. And it’s totally fucked how other cities are freaking beating people. But…the needs of my city come first. And once your endless protest starts interfering with my city’s efforts to become a nicer place to live- its on! We’ve been nice to you so far- I would really hate for that to have to change.

It was all because of fleas. We let the collars expire- why did we do that? And scruffy kept itching. And the shampoo didn’t work. So, it was time to deflea. And I wasn’t there for this part, but I doubt it would have mattered. Petsmart, OTC flea medicine. They place it on the cats necks, keep a close eye on Buttons because he’s older.

And..his breathing isn’t quite right. We should have taken him to the vet right then but who knew a flea product could kill someone. And, we gave him a bath, waited for him to get better. Made him a food tray for later he would never get to eat. And my mom comes in my room screaming. He’s not getting better. I look up the drug quickly on my iPhone. And…so many stories. Seizures, and deaths. We call the 24 hour vet, they say that its poison. We rush there…not fast enough. We thought it was fast enough. But..instead…it wasn’t. We sit in a brightly lit room, and get the bad news. I want to be sick. He was fine earlier that day. It was the drug, the drug. We take his body home, but Scruffy is drooling, or foaming. So, we take them both, they get baths. I get home at 7:30, have to call out of work.

And..they were sleepy, skittish, motor skills were terrible. Creamy even had a lazy eye for awhile. They got better. Buttons didn’t. I had him since he was 15. He was sweet, and greedy, and not that bright. He had giant eyes, and he loved having him chin scratched. He would nibble me when he was hungry, and stand with his legs far apart. And, he’s sunbathe, and sniff the fresh air. And…Sentry killed him. Petsmart killed him. We…

Just…don’t shop at PetSmart. Don’t use those OTC products, they are basically just fucking pesticides. Just…I miss my cat. And, no, I can’t just get another one.
